Public Speaking Workshop and MC Training: Building Students’ Confidence

Sidoarjo, February 14th, 2025 – All language students and Student Council (OSIS) members participated in the Public Speaking Workshop and Master of Ceremony (MC) Training, organized by the Public Speaking UNESA Team and Self Development Indonesia. The event took place from 8:00 to 11:00 AM with great enthusiasm and excitement.

This workshop aimed to help students become more confident in public speaking and to train them on how to be a good MC. Through this training, participants learned important skills for speaking in front of an audience.

During the session, students received lessons on public speaking basics, voice control, expressions, and how to overcome nervousness. They also had the chance to practice being an MC in different event situations.

“I’m really happy to join this workshop. I learned so many new things, especially about speaking confidently and leading an event as an MC,” said one of the participants.

The event was interactive and fun. Students not only listened to theories but also practiced through live simulations guided by experienced mentors. This workshop helped students develop better speaking skills and prepare them for future public speaking opportunities.
